  • Gorgeous neat and tidy park for all budgets and travelers. Showers are wonderful and so clean. Beach is a 2 minute walk away, and the shipwreck Yongala is just off the coast. One of the worlds best dive sites. Stay more than one night, it is so worth it. You can drive on the beach too... BUT be careful of the incoming tides, many have lost their vehicles to the ocean.

Does not even deserve a star... I've been staying here for over 5 months. The lady owner is a real disgrace, I came to that place to find a job. She kept promising me every week just to keep me paying rent. She even swore to get me a job in front of customers just to look good... That never happened, hopefully people in there helped me. After a big argue, basically if you come from overseas, you have no right to stay in cabins as its way cheaper. Using her own words: "You are not Australian or a permanent resident". I found out when I've seen and asked to those people how much they've been charge for the other proper unit. Anyway was parked like cattle in a dirty unit to share with a feral. No one or the management couldn't bother doing anything to stop him from keeping trashing up the place until we came to a fight. None of them didn't even clean the room in 5 months. The unit itself: small and filled up with as much bunk beds as the room allows. The aircon is a pity: the aircon fitting is not even insulated around so when you run it it makes a hell of a noise from the vibration and you will fee like being in a tractor all day so couldn't use it. The bathroom: really really clean I must say. That's because the old lady who is working is working hell hard, I saw her being rude to this nice lady and another one and one day one of them has collapsed just saying.... This place is not far from the ocean but be aware of the sand flies because yes we're living up north and they're cranky and you will get to see it over there's Before I left the lady owner asked me to pay a full week even if I stay few days and promised to give me a refund when I leave. I'm still waiting for it...
